Special thanks also goes to IYAU individual donors who have donated their funds to help IYAU’s activities move forward, these are people who contribute generously to IYAU during fund raising events or making their donations through the website or making physical payment at the organizations office.

Implementing partners

IYAU has been implementing its projects with the following partners:

Soroti District Local Government (SDLG):

Soroti District Local Government has been very influential in making IYAU projects and programs a success. The District through its administration efforts from different departments has offered support to make sure that all IYAU’s projects are implemented and are directed to achieve the intended goals and objectives.

Serere District Local Government (SDLG):

Serere District Local Government has been supportive and making sure that IYAU programmes and projects in the District Succeed. We thank the District Administration for their efforts and support they are giving us while implementing different programmes to benefit the communities in the district.

SAF-TESO:

SAF-TESO has been and is supportive in mobilising different community beneficiaries and collaborating with IYAU in implementing some of the projects like community based literacy and numeracy projects

Oreey Beverages Ltd:

Oreey Beverages collaborates with IYAU by offering training to its beneficiaries (youth) on fruit juice processing and packaging thus enabling them to gain marketable skills and access jobs from different fruit processing industries. Beneficiaries are attached for a period of two months and are able to learn the practical skills and knowledge needed in order to establish their own enterprises.

Imperial Auto Holdings Ltd:

Imperial Auto Holdings collaborates with IYAU by empowering young people with practical skills for job creation and providing free market driven hands on skills vocational training to vulnerable young people on Machines and tools fabrication, Motor / transformer rewinding, Carpentry and Joinery / wood work technology, Plumbing, Electrical installation, Welding and metal fabrication, Fitting and machining, Motor vehicles mechanics, and Motor vehicle electrical. Beneficiaries are attached to the company for hands on skills vocational training attachment for six months. Beneficiaries are able to learn the practical skills and knowledge needed in order to establish their own enterprises. Imperial Auto holdings Ltd is also willing to provide training equipment and instructors for Machines and tools fabrication, Carpentry and Joinery/Wood work Technology, Motor Vehicle mechanics and electrical, Block laying and Concrete practice and Electrical Installation once funding for the construction of Teso skills Training and Innovation Centre (Testic) is secured as part of their Corporate social responsibility.

Community Leaders:

Community leaders have also acted as a gateway to different community beneficiaries. Without community leaders, IYAU would find it hard to reach different communities with its intended programs.
